What do I need to do to prepare for exercising our right?   Obtain contact details of freeholder and any intermediate landlords (Their titles will need to be checked and their address for service of the notice established)
   
  Engage a specialist valuer to advise on the premium payable for the freehold

How is the freehold premium being shared amongst the participants?

Are any participants putting in more money than they are receiving in value by way of share of freehold and new lease?

External finance required/arranged?

Are you prepared to buy the landlord out of unlet flats / shops?

   
  Enter into a Participation Agreement with other flat owners participating in purchase recording contributions and entitlement to new leases.
   
  Decide on nominee purchaser.
This can be an individual or legal entity (such as a company or trust).
