Tony Wilson is the senior partner of the firm which began life originally in 1988 in Cromwell Road SW5. He specialises in both non–contentious and contentious commercial and property related work of all types throughout his career and still acts for a number of clients who first instructed the firm in 1988. Tony has been a director and shareholder of several property companies, which has provided invaluable insight and experience for clients from both a practical and legal viewpoint. Tony's most recent contentious work includes the successful pursuit of an order for specific performance of a property contract and a complicated and urgent defended possession claim.
Tony has put together site assembly work for a range of clients including the famous "Pioneer Point" in central Ilford. Tony is also involved in the handling and resolution of civil disputes for a range of clients particularly on a Landlord and Tenant basis.
Tony's commerical expertise includes being instrumental in numerous company sales and acquisitions and commercial agreements of all types. He also enjoys acting for the “underdog” and has been able to assist a number of clients where other solicitors were unwilling or unable to act to protect their interests.
Tony has been chairman and president of the Kensington and Chelsea Chamber of Commerce. He has run three marathons in aid of cancer research and motor neurone disease (the last one being in Berlin when he was aged 50!) raising in excess of £50,000.00 in total.
Tony is married and has four children.

Joanna studied Law at the University of Reading before joining the firm in 2004. Upon joining the firm she completed her Legal Practice Course on a part time basis at the College of Law and qualified as a solicitor in 2007. She became a partner of the firm in May 2009.
Joanna has extensive experience in residential and commercial property law especially the London property market acting for national and international individuals and corporate clients.
Her particular passion and expertise involves working as a lease extension solicitor, advising on Collective Enfranchisement claims, Right to Manage and missing Landlord issues and overcoming these by claims through the Leasehold Reform Housing and Urban Development Act 1993, the Leasehold Reform Act 1967 and the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. She enjoys the complexities of the legislation and using her technical knowledge to resolve difficult issues.

In her spare time, Joanna enjoys travelling, photography and running where she has run a number of marathons and half marathons to raise money for charity.

Jade joined the firm in April 2013 after attaining a Law Degree at King’s College London in 2010 and travelling through Mexico, Asia and Australia in the intervening period.
She undertook her training contract at Ashley Wilson Solicitors focusing on conveyancing, property litigation and leasehold enfranchisement matters and qualified as a solicitor in January 2016. She now works closely with Joanna Botley specialising in leasehold enfranchisement work.
With over 20 years of experience in property, Margot works for buyers and sellers, leaseholders and freeholders. This makes her ideally placed to facilitate and action all aspects of property law from sales and purchases to other property issues such as new leases, licences for alterations, transfers of equity etc.
Margot joined Ashley Wilson’s Property Department in 2011. She graduated from Exeter University with a BA joint honours degree in History, English and Politics and then qualified as a solicitor in 1992. Her property experience was gained whilst working for Herbert Mallam Gowers Solicitors of Oxford, for Davies Brown Solicitors of Wimbledon where she was appointed Partner and Piper Smith Watton LLP of Westminster.
Margot is a member of the City of Westminster & Holborn Law Society, ALEP and AWS.
